A bunch of friends and I just came back from fishing 4 days off Of Kitimat. Two from BC and two from AB. We stopped in Smithers to pick up our groceries, booze and fuel. While loading the boat up with food, some guy drove past us, then yelled out “Thanks for bringing the COVID!” All I had time to yell back You’re Welcome before he sped off.
Not long after that, another vehicle drove slowly passed us while loading and made good eye contact and started to shake their head with disapproval. Buddies from BC couldn’t believe how we were getting treated.
On a good note, the rest of the trip we didn’t have any issues.

Sorry I was out of town all weekend hauling pigs or I would have said something. Next time give a heads up and we can have a fire and some beers. Most aren't like that around here. As much as I like to poke fun red plates are welcome at my place.
