Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
If so, how do you do it?
I do it but it’s never as good as new. I use a 60grit flapper disk thingy. The blades cut good for a few cuts but they go the chit after a while. Surely some u anal lawn freaks have a method! Spill the beans! Help a fellow dull blade man!

I sharpen mine - bench grinder - nice steady hand and I have a lawnmower blade balancer - it's a stepped cone on a pin - works good

used those when I worked as mechanic for the City

Sharpened 30 blades each Monday

Balancing makes a big difference

Change oil and sharpen blades every spring. Unless they are bent then they go in the bin.

It's like changing a windshield........proper way to do it is put a new one in. But guaranteed the minute you do the wife is gonna put a rock into it.

Been sharpening my own for years. Youre right, they work great for a couple cuts but sure dull out quick

I sharpen mine. Put it in the vise and use the angle grinder, then check it for balance. Once maybe twice a year. Have a friend that was sharpening his with the bench grinder last week and it slipped and he cut an inch off his finger.

Steady as she goes on the bench grinder. After every cut mind you I cut maybe 4 acres of grass each cut. Take them off and clean out the deck as well each time.

Sharpen with a grinder to get the big gouges out and finish them with a file. Works great until wife decides to cut some more gravel :d
