It pays to clean out the deck or it will rot out, i use a big ass file on mine it takes off metal fast and does not effect the temper of the blade.

Just wondering how long it would take to drop off your blades for sharpening... then go back down to get them and pay for them?

Show off.

Some of us work. Do t have that much time

That's funny coming from you Ray, lol.

Back, I sharpen mine on the Ztrack every 3 cuts, when im cutting I crank it up as well, Cut 3 acres of grass. With grinder. Cut my grass for the first time last evening, some places it was 10" high, the unit blows the grass into a large container on the back and I dump it. Without sharp blades I think that would of been difficult.

I ran through it quick to grab leaves and crab but had the deck on 4”, it grows twice as much where the septic field is. Haven’t even touched the ditches yet though. Just going for some diesel now, then if weather permits will hit them. June is tomorrow, lol.

i just buy new every year especially for the ridding mowers.. When i was doing large property with the riding mower i found when i pulled the blades off i was finding hair line cracks in the blades.. 2 different machines so i know it was not the machine and used good blades right to the cheap ones with no difference . The push mowers never found cracks but for the time to run to the store grab a new blade and install its not worth my time to sit their and sharpen it..
