Isn't it about time to replace Albertas Chief Medical Officer? I tired of listening to her pontificate the virtues of washing your hand, not touching your face and not hanging out with friends and family. How long does she expect her social shaming campaign to last. She is oblivious as the economy implodes around her. Fact from the Alberta Government Covide Web Site. 1) 5 people under the age of 70 have died in Alberta. 2) Average age of death 83 (isn't that older then the Life expectancy of Albertans) 3) Oldest Death from covid in Alberta ( Such a tragedy to die so young) 3) Highest utilization of ICU beds in Alberta 3% I think that 16 beds out of 350.

How long are we going to put up with this Nonsense ??

maybe she did too good of a job and now she is a villain because of it? Just food for thought.

What's wrong with washing your hands and not touching your face? That is disease prevention 101.

I kind of like the 6 foot rule, it's been a while since I've been run over in the grocery store by a shopping cart. As for seeing friends and family, what the government don't know won't hurt them.

You seriously don't touch your face ever? What kind of craziness is that?
And disease prevention 101 is getting your hands dirty and interacting with viruses and bacteria all the time. That's the only way you build a proper immune system

That's not what I wrote.

I guess we should tell the people in Africa they should stop dying 20 years before we do, they should have immune systems made of steel with all the bacteria and viruses they are exposed to.

Seriously though there's a difference between living in too sterile an environment, and deliberately exposing yourself to viruses that mutate every year like the common cold and flu.

Your right self isolation is good for some people. If you are a believer in what the Chief Metical officers Prophecies you ought to buy a sack a rice and set up camp in your basement.

My apologies, I guess I never seen your masters degree in public health.

Carry on everyone, no need to wash your hands, and feel free to continue licking public washroom door handles like Dr. Keith Brown here clearly does.

She's just reading a script like most of the rest of our so called public health professionals. Tommy Tam just repeats what the CCP sponsored WHO tells him to say. They've all been wrong so many times I think it's good to question anything they say.

At least we didn’t hit the 600,000 cases in Alberta by mid May as these experts predicted, lol. Same clowns that run our province and country no wonder alberta and Canada are f’d.
Same experts that predicted we would hit 600,000 cases are the same people saying that Trudeau’s approval rating is at 77%.

Soooo, Kenny is basing his Alberta plans based on 143 deaths?
There are 350,000 deaths worldwide with tons of data and info to base Alberta plans on.
Maybe humans in Berta require different pandemic plans.
Typical Albertan attitude. We are different and we got this. No need to learn from the rest of the world.

This guy is a real gem.

143 deaths in Alberta population of 4.3 million is 0.000033 percent
350,000 deaths in world population 7.7 billion is 0.000045 percent fairly close imo.

So why not learn from the leading covid wise country? South Korea for instance.
Test, track and contact trace. Be proactive, not reactive. Kenny the province leader is gonna work on saving old people but the old people get covid from younger asymptomatic transmitters. Test, track, trace. Test, track, trace. Nope, we are Albertans, we gonna do this our own. You know, reinvent the wheel.
Happy spike in cases! Enjoy!

BC 164 deaths population 5 million 0.000033 percent

How is it again that “typical Alberta attitude” is the issue?

Alberta was like 2nd or 3rd in the world for testing per capita so testing has been done better than most places anywhere else? As far as contact tracing. Are you talking like a tracking app? I don't think that is going over to good here right now. I know no one that wants the government tracing them.

I mean contact tracing like if a covid carrying human went into a business, the contact tracing people could put out a public notice and the time at the location the person was in there. The people that were there could then get tested and/or self quarantine to help stop the spread.
I know what you mean about tracking people. I’m a big privacy guy but If it came to it, I would prolly be ok with being a dot in the govt’s big screen for covid. I can’t believe I said that
