This is for any one on here with a classic car or special interest car.
I was contacted by a worker from the GEF senior housing in Queen Alexandra neighborhood in Edmonton.
One of their residents isn't doing too well (age will do that I guess). And he was talking to the old fella. And they got on the subject of cars. The old guy lit up talking about the old cars. His 1st was a 1957 Oldsmobile.
Anyways this worker thought it'd be nice to arrange the old fella a ride in a 57 olds.
He contacted one of Edmontons car clubs. And closest to that happens to be my 58 olds.
I spoke with the center today. They feel they would like to arrange a drive by with the cars for their residents.
They've asked for a 2 PM drive by on Friday May 29th.
I'm trying to get people to meet in the home depot parking lot on Calgary trail. (The one just north of Allendale Road). And at 2. We will drive over to the seniors center and do a couple laps.
If anyone is interested please let me know.
