Only need to stop for gas , we will be fully stocked with food and water. 3.7 litre engine does remarkably well for an RV. 16-17 litres per 100 . We usually fill up around Calgary from Revy then next stop will be Drumheller to top up then Hwy 10 to Alsask then to Saskatoon. We are going to plate the RV on Monday or Tuesday and go for it around the 26th.

I travelled to Calgary and back last week. There was plenty of blue and white plates travelling east towards Calgary and some hauling RVs. I think most of the population has had enough of this bull**** and are doing what they need to do. I say carry on with your life.

My brother went from Sask to BC last week for a family emergency and he called a number he found on line about border crossings. They said they were trying to deter non essential travel. He told them the situation and the lady said it sounded pretty essential to her.

Suggested packing a cooler with drinks and food so they wouldn't have to stop as often. He said he was pulling his 5th wheel camper and had all the necessities they would need and would be sleeping in it as well. She was very happy with that arrangement.

I've been from Revy to Stoon and many places in between over the last few weeks and for the most part its business as usual, just quieter. Cardlock is handy as stores have had limited hours.

Pulling a trailer behind the pickup i've had a couple shenanigans in Drive-Thrus.... Tims is a wide corner, McD's are a little tight..

I went out to the kooc yesterday and found there was a noticeable amount of less traffic heading back to Alberta. May long weekend is usually a **it show but this long weekend was quiet.

No mud bogs made quite a difference.

I was out at the camp for the weekend and it sure was great to drink cold beer with our neighbors from Calgary. Will do it again this coming weekend

I just read a report that Fernie annual tourism sector generates 150 million dollars and that being 65% comes from Alberta.

Yep, but plane loads of Asians and people from abroad are super cool
Hard to believe really isn’t it ?
I am from BC 30 years ago so understand the mentality of it all .
Oh well I like all people / provinces as long as they are nice people and contribute and clean up after them selves .

We just come back from 5 total days in bc. And I must say the travel part was exhausting. I’m not a big fan of fast food but with 3 kids it’s part of the gig. We have coolers for food on the way there for snacks and drinks but here is what I found. There may be a rules for phases an opening back up but not all company’s are following them. In northern B.C. A&W are I’m every town. There hours have changed and still only drive thru. Tim H’s will stack you in like cord wood. They also where the only ones with bathrooms open. If I had a holiday trailer it would of been a different story.

I worked all week in Fernie and the traffic coming into fernie is busy with today being the busiest. Lots of big boats coming and as well as camping trailers. Not sure where the boats are going as the kooc is not ready for those types of boats
