Trudeau says “ we dont need a ar-15 to hunt for deer” that’s because we were never allowed to use one for hunting.
They are way better weapons for hunting.

Guns Do Not Kill People. People Kill People. It is Just Dumb asses way of dealing with the Nova Scotia Incident. RIP to all those folks and condolences to the families and friends. He has wanted to ban firearms since he was voted in. I guess just the criminals will have guns. We will all be sitting ducks!!!
Any one that want to get rid of extra firearms or the ones now being banned, just pm me. I will be more then happy to store them.

I find it more interesting that those were actually legal in Canada. Im suprised the Fagot rocket launcher is on there.

That because the Libs are supported by the lame NDP, and the Block in Quebec ( who get all the Libs Perks etc.) While here in the West we get screwed over royalty daily by the Libs , if the oil company were name Bombardier or SNC -lavalin, Paf more money to them

Ive been thinking of ways to compare this situation to put in in perspective, to someone who has no clue about firearms.

The govt is banning tactical precision weapons, some dont think they are necessary and they are scared of something they don’t understand. Sport shooters and hunters enjoy quality and precision, a tactical firearm provides that.

Wondering how some would enjoy the govt banning luxury cars and trucks, sports cars and muscle cars. Are they really needed? when a lower quality car and truck can do the same job.

Both are weapons in the hands of the wrong person, same as narcotics, alot of those are banned but they still end up in canada.

This is just the beginning IMO.

I think they may of been on the prohibitive list that collectors got grandfathered. Same as full auto rifles.

Using Trudeau logic 101:

We are banning the following sportscars to prevent drunk driving accidents:
-Chevrolet Corvette (coupe and convertible)
-Dodge Challenger (all models, base model V6's included, they still look fast and scary)
-All 2 door Porsches (Panameras are exempt)
-Any car producing over 350hp and "sport looking"
There will be a 2 year amnesty and buyback program, which you'll get pennies on the dollar for all of those 4 wheel death machines.

What a joke, if any government were serious about tackling violence, they'd look into mental health initiatives, going after gangs and the influx of illegal weapons coming from the states. I am a responsible, law abiding gun owner, I don't own any restricted guns but I'm sure in due time the guns I do own will be on the radar. I'd bet money that 98% of all MPs in office haven't taken a firearms course, gone shooting or even looked into the actual issues affecting this country. Yet here we are with more emotionally based, knee-jerk reactions that do nothing to solve the problem, only create more. From what I'm reading, the first nations get a pass on this whole thing too. That really makes sense...

Don’t give the wingers any ideas, theses folks that want to ban guns will be the same fruitcakes wanting fast cars off the road, and sled.utv,atv, your dog, kids playing in a park.

I’ll do some digging but on CGN there’s been a few posts about certain FN being exempt.

I haven’t read the gender based analysis but I can only imagine it makes as much sense as a soup sandwich.
