Depends on which side of the border you are sitting on. From here it might seem like he has no compassion for Canada and Trudeau who is his closest ally (sarc). If you are south of the border and think it's important that your leader take care of the country he was elected to lead, it might seem reasonable....Defense Production Act puts USA first.... not Canada.

Liberals: Wah wah wah Trump is an a-hole. Why is he screwing us over. He's a prick.

Conservatives: Well what do you expect? Its his job to protect his country and not ours? We need to not be so reliant on other countries and just manufacture them ourselves. We have companies that can do this!

Maybe, you could be right but I don't have the numbers to back that up, at this point it is simply numbers pulled out of thin air...

We should be at 10% when comparing ourselves to the US - same basic lifestyle with 10% of the population. so if we sent 16T than the US should have sent 160T so Trump was more reserved OR Trudeau was kissing azz

Right now our cases are 5% that of the US and our death rate is 2.5% - they are being hit much harder than us on a per capita basis.

Don’t think for a minute that if the tables were turned Canada wouldn’t be doing the same thing. If the big PPE manufacturing was in Quebec, they’d make a point of selling to everyone except the states, and so would Ontario. And western Canada would be way down on the list too.

I've been struggling with this for a long time because I just can't figure out why a certain percentage of the population always circles back to socialism. It has been proven SO many times that it doesn't work. I think idealistic/clueless types look at the perceived failings of capitalism (income inequality) and then construct a utopia in their little heads that will be better. Problem is it doesn't work. History has proven that capitalism isn't perfect, but it is by far the best option

It's the bleeding heart factor inside everyone. It's a natural human way of thinking. "My heart bleeds for _______, all we need to do is help them out by doing _________." Very slippery slope though, quickly destroys any positive progress, both at the individual level and societal.

Trump is gonna eat sleepy joe alive in the upcoming election. Biden is actually worse than Trudeau when it comes to being able to construct a coherent sentence. Trudeau is actually too stupid to understand what he’s saying and can only make sense when he reads something his liberal masters give him.
Biden has the experience and knowledge to know what he wants to say, but his mental faculties are so deteriorated by age that two words into the sentence he forgets what he was talking about and his mind wanders off to the ozone.
The upcoming debates in the fall are gonna be hilarious to watch as trump takes advantage of Biden’s’ senility.
