I don't recommend using stop losses on a penny stock,.. anyone with lvl3 financial institution can easily see this and manipulate the price up or down to trigger them. I don't recommend day trading penny stocks unless you have the time to watch them to get in or out because of volatility. I have been home since June on disability so its easy for me to make OR lose money,.. today was a fine day.

I will add another stock, AVCR, I was in at .10

People make lots of money trading good on em.
If you have a buisness to run or a full time job, it's hard to do.
Some assets aren't as liquid either.

Investing for the long term is going to build wealth guaranteed. Young guy keep putting money into good investments. (Doesnt have to be the stock market either) A certain amount you can afford each month type thing. You'll be a millionaire forsure.

I hear you on the markets, but cash is trash they just print the ****. I have 6 figures in cash, but at some point you have to do something with it. Bank gives me .25% and justin just printed a trillion Cad this year and we didnt produce ****!

Edit: also you cant be spending the profit every time it goes up, (not saying you are, just saying.. )or it will never grow into something. It needs to compound.

That's the thing, it's nice making money on the stock market, but still pretty hard to compete with the guaranteed paycheck I receive going to work.

I cashed out 80% of my stocks last week at a 50% average profit. I have no idea what is going to happen with the market in the next little bit and I had my whole TFSA tied up in stocks. I'll wait it out and then find some more stable stocks to invest in. Made me nervous having 6 figures in stocks when the USA is on the verge of a civil war

Nice,.. I know where this is going, I pick up more shares yesterday during the run up, the MC, share count, what they offer, NOT just covid testing, they are way undervalued. After the volume Fri, I am pretty sure the PP is closed as the CEO was in meetings last week, so looking forward to news Monday or midweek

Pretty heavy debt load, poor price to earnings and a beta over 2.

I'm not sure i see AVCR the same as you do

What ever bro,.. good luck

I struggle to understand why people put money into a business that on paper looks like its struggling, that's why I'm wondering is there something that I don't see or are you just being speculative?

I've been bagholding this since 2018... I got in at $0.28, I still hold 5000 shares and am pleased to see it finally moving after a few years of bouncing around a penny to a nickle.... Strong positive outlook from analysts.... Might be worth picking up another 5k and lowering my average.

I don't answer these questions because I am not a financial advisor, I do plenty of after hours due diligence to come to my own conclusions and invest my money accordingly

I'm just looking to start doing some trading, what platforms are you all using, and would you recommend them?

I'm on Qtrade. I've looked briefly at Wealthsimple, but I don't think its for me, the data they provide is extremely basic and I keep seeing reports that the data you see is delayed 15 minutes. I like the idea of free trades, but loosing the rest isn't worth it to me.

FYI the Qtrade app is also delayed 15 minutes. I run the full Qtrade site on a browser on my phone.
