7.62 SKS- cheap ammo and cheap guns. I like when you can buy a thousand rounds for around $300 (I prefer on stripper clips). Like shooting a .22 . Great cheap gun for under 200 yard plunking.

Get a vz58 or a cz 858 or a type 81 if money is not a issue or yeah a sks.....or get em all!! 7.62 X 39 is the cheapest round corrosive about.21 cents a shot.when you shoot corrosive bullets run water down the barrel or clean the gun or it will rust

I got thousands of 556/223 rounds so thats why I was wanting that calibre but maybe the 762 is the better way to go.

What you looking to do with it? If you want to hunt coyotes and money isn't an option I would go with an Alberta Tactical Rifle Modern Hunter.
