A change in careers brought home my toolbox. I still have to reconfigure my shelving to put it against the wall properly but that’s another night

Thats a nice setup! Congrats on the new career, What are you doing now that yah get to take that home???

Thanks. I’m a journeyman HET by trade, got into management a few years ago and I’d still help out on the floor when the guys needed a hand and it was busy. So my tools stayed at the shop. I’m going to be looking after an fleet of equipment with my new gig. I’ll still do the odd small repair/service here and there so I may be taking it back once we setup with a shop. Either way it’s so nice to have all my tools at home for now. I can’t count the amount of times I’d be on a project at home and think “crap, I have what I need at the shop”. And then reluctantly go buy it at Ukrainian tire

Took front left Leveleg off the moho today. I over-extended it about 3 yrs ago leveling the rig in a very off camber spot and broke a shear pin in it. Fixed the pin, but it’s never been right....fails on retract mode about 50% of the time. Gotta turn off the panel, hit retract again...sometimes 3-4 times to get it sucked back up.
ANYWAYS...pulled er all apart. Cleaned brushes and commutator. Threw a straight edge on the inner extendable leg: slight (very) bend. Took the flapper wheel to the high spots, re-greased. All seems OK. Fingers crossed.

Changed oil in the JD F725, greased, took all guards off and cleaned grass out, blew out air filter. Good for another year.
