10 Million to fix things up which looks to be needed for sure ??
But my question is ? What has happened to all the yearly funding over the years we have paid for ?
I think we know right?
So you would think a audit would happen also and people possibly charged ???
Did a quick search and found this back in 2014 when Harper was in control.
Note ? Salaries and benefits??

Definitely, salaries & benefits are the largest expense....how much total funding do they get each year?

Yeah that seems about right. Same reason one of our local resrves is running a $20 million deficit.

In Sask you can look up every person/contactor who is paid by the govenernment to see where most of the money is going. I don't undertsand with the amount of government cash that flows through most reserves they don't have to be held accountable for it.

Yeah yeah, the treaty this, treaty that. Most of which were signed in the 1800's. Well times have changed vastly since then, its time for a revamp on those to hold people/management/government accountable.

Time to drain the swamp.
That was on Harpers platform last election. The reserve to the north of us went from 24% turnout traditionally at the ballot boxes to 96% we were told. They had to go to a neighboring town 3 times for more ballots because of the massive turnout. And they weren't voting PC.

Notice “Repairs and Maintenance” was only 166,000.... and they had budgeted over 200 so they didn’t even spend what they budgeted

Wouldn’t be a crisis if they’d get off their ass and clean up after themselves. It’s not roving bands of white rednecks moving from reserve to reserve turning their houses into pig pens. How do you help people who have no interest in helping themselves?

When you can’t even have the cooth or ambition to close your front door to your spread it’s not a crisis it’s a laziness problem, they hold their hand out for more but how about start providing for yourselves like we all do, I can remember a few years ago two native girls overdosed on drugs and the news reporter was doing a story on it and a Indian rolled up in a Lincoln fancy car and was yelling where’s the crisis people, like you don’t work the least you could do is take care of your children, as far as I’m concerned it’s outta hand and there’s no stopping it now,

Formany years with heart in hand
tryinghard to understand.
InIndian eyes I see a blight
"Guilty"...'causemy skin is white.
Ididn't take your land away
asyou Native people say;
Someonedid and that's a crime
butthat was long before my time.
Justwho of you can cry despair?
Whennot one of you were even there?
Weare all victims of our race
withno control of what took place.
ButI resent your attitude. Life's not fair, I will agree
butsee your own hypocrisy!
Youtell of living off the land,
howeverything was made by hand.
Yousay that "Life" was best by far
thenyou brag about your latest car.
Youclaim the old ways were the best
(orso you've heard, would be my guess).
Yousit and tell it all to me
whilewatching Hockey on T.V.
There'sfew of us, and lets not kid
whowould live as our ancestors did.
Inmodern clothes you've made your mark
couldyou go back to wearing bark?
Isthis not pure hypocrisy
tolive and dress the same as me?
Tocry "Get out! It's not your home"
thenbuy our Tupperware and Chrome.
I'mfed up trying to be sincere
to justifymy being here.
Yoursanctimonious act I doubt.
Idare you now to hear me out.
Inmy bewilderment, guilty awe
I'vehad you call me, "Damn White Squaw."
Andthen proceed in honey tone
"Buddy,can I use your phone?"
Asfor pollution, White man's to blame
(atleast that's what you always claim).
Andyet near your home, as there I strode
yourgarbage dumped beside the road!
Thisland will never be the same
we'remostly, but not all to blame.
IfWhite man's presence is so grim
whytry so hard to be like him.
There'sthose of you who bitch and frown
withevery word you run us down.
Youwant the goods we represent
yetyou blame us for your discontent.
Yousay you want the same as me,
"EqualOpportunity."
Ifyou believe in what you say,
let'smake it "Equal All The Way."
Let'ssettle first the quest at hand
thisardent issue of this land.
Likeyou, this country I revere.
likeyou, I too was born right here.
Next,so you'll be on par with Whites,
let'sdrop the special fishing rights.
Allpart of this equality.
onefor you and one for me.
The"Baby Bonus" comes to you ,
youget an old age pension too.
Andso the Bigots, can't compare
you'llwant no more the free Health Care.
ForParity you will enhance
theFeds can keep their Native grants.
Equalityis now in hand.
Iwonder if you'll understand.
Licencesto hunt and trap, just like the Whites
ifyou insist on equal rights.
Cameras,T V's, fast Cars, too
areWhite man's toys, (to name a few?)
Youwant them all, and that's a fact,
sowhy don't you pay your income tax?
It'sfor the souls long dead and gone
theones who really lost their home.
Theones so hurt when White man came
forthem I humbly bear the shame.
I'vesaid it all, I rest my case
Inow can meet you face to face.
Recallthis poem when next you say,
"TheWhite Man took our land away."
