I think it is time to follow this company and their shenanigans, along with the BS Trudeau and his henchmen are spewing. This is criminality at it's best with Quebec a major player. Funny how losing GM in Oshawa and the 5000 jobs and the 10's of thousands of jobs in Alberta and the energy sector hasn't had a ripple effect within the Liberal government but poor Quebec and the French voting capacity have really hit a nerve with the Liberals and Trudeau in particular.

It is really hard to find writings and if one finds something, it had better be copied and pasted because it may not be there tomorrow. The information below is just that kind of factual information. I sure hope that something can materialize out of the BS of the scumbag Liberals......all of the below information has been taken from CBC. I can clearly see that with the information below, it defines where Jody Wilson-Raybould stands and the BS that is going on.

Roussel is the official who informed SNC-Lavalin that the company was not going to be invited to negotiate a remediation agreement. Less than two weeks later, the company filed for a judicial review of that decision.

In October, prosecutors told SNC-Lavalin it would not get a DPA. The criminal charges were going to court. SNC Lavalin's lifeline was fraying. Events started to move fast.

The company made the news public in an October 10 statement. On Oct. 11, SNC-Lavalin met with Elder Marques, the PMO senior adviser. A week later, the company announced that it would challenge the prosecutor's decision.

But in October, the Public Prosecution Service of Canada determined SNC had not met the criteria for a DPA.
According to the Globe and Mail, Wilson-Raybould then "came under heavy pressure" to persuade the Public Prosecution Service of Canada to change its mind. But she was unwilling to instruct the director of the public prosecution service to negotiate the agreement, the Globe reported.

Seems quebec is a province riddled with scandals, goes to show you they are regulated enough and used to receiving way to much money. On the flip side the liberals have found the reason Jody wilson-raybould got fired...because her french was not up to par!! Nothing to do with a scandal...wow they missed that little fact when she got interviewed for the job.

I disagree.
In the quote above, it states that the Prosecution Services of Canada stated that SNC-Lavalin didn't meet the criteria for a DPA. I'm betting Jody Wilson-Raybould stood up for that decision and that led to the Cabinet demotion.

I’m pretty sure that’s what everyone believes...

I as really hoping they would have kept going with the lack of French thing, because the ones who really know what's going on, will not be present to testify. So Trudeau will be found not guilty. Unless of coarse Jody pulls out her native status card "wild card" in some kind of UN exclusion law. We know how Trudeau has been pushing the UN down our throat in a lot secrete deals...hopefully it will come back to bite him in the azz.

The reason the Oshawa plant has gained so much traction is because it affects people in the east! If the GM Oshawa plant was in Saskatchewan or Alberta, it would not be important news at all.

They (most easterners in Quebec and Ontario) could care less about Alberta's concerns..... Go read the comments that get posted on national stories like the latest group of truckers heading to Ottawa from Alberta....
Comments like this make my blood boil; (I am paraphrasing and not writing exactly as written);

...oooh, poor Alberta, living high on the hog for all those years and now they get brought down to live like the rest of us....boo hoo

....awwww. poor oil and gas workers that can't see that the industry is changing.....go get another job!.....

These SOB's fail to factor in the BILLIONS of dollars that headed their way from that industry over the years!!!

I don't feel the convoy of trucks will appeal to the people of Ontario and Quebec.......they will just ridicule it (I hope I am wrong!!)

....in fact the union workers of Unifor who are crying the blues in Ontario over their plant about to close and are requesting that Canadians should boycott all GM products that start with a 3 (built in Mexico)....that same union also covers the workers at the refinery in Burnaby (where the T-Mountain pipeline goes).....those same workers voted against having the pipeline built!! They make a living with Alberta oil but voted against twinning the line!!!

They want us to help their cause but for the last few years have not stood up for Alberta, Saskatchewan and the O & G industry....

The news of thousands and thousands of western workers out of work and hurting financially and mentally have fallen on deaf eastern ears for the most part...IMO

....and now they want me to feel sorry for them???..........Sorry, I am having a tough time caring......pretty sad actually

I agree 100%. I said as much in my OP. The east doesn't care for what is happening in the west and when the votes are counted and ours don't count they are then very happy campers. My original intent was to get into the skullduggery of the Liberals in the handling of the DPA for SNC-Lavalin. It would have gotten lost in the Trudeau threads. My thinking is that Jody Wilson-Raybould stood her ground and supported the Public Prosecution Service and that is what the underlying theme of the BS is about.

I am actually surprised that I am finding what I am finding in the CBC media.

Would be epic if he lost his seat I just can’t stand anything the guy says. Because it’s 2015 is still one of the dumbest things I’ve heard how about they are the most qualified options.

The Trudeau government quietly passed the law creating the DPA process last year, through a one-page add-on to its 600-page omnibus budget bill that even some Liberal MPs on the Commons finance committee weren’t aware of ... with SNC-Lavalin in mind. SNC-Lavalin executives fiercely lobbied the Prime Minister’s Office for the legislation. You can bet the legislation was gone over with a fine tooth comb, Anticipating this day would come.... Not a dam thing is going to happen with this.

I hope this is the final nail in the coffin for him. SNC has been corrupt for a while. When you get banned from other country’s it’s usually a tell tale sign right? Nope. Let’s support em, let’s find them, let’s line some more pockets.
