MONTREAL, March 20, 2019 /CNW Telbec/ - SNC-Lavalin (TSX: SNC) is pleased to announce that it has earned the prestigious Compliance Leader Verification from the Ethisphere Institute, an independent centre for research, best practices and thought leadership. The Compliance Leader Verification is awarded exclusively to companies with the best industry ethics and compliance program that are proactively investing resources in compliance, sending a clear signal that an organization takes compliance and ethics seriously. This certification is valid until the end of 2020.

Exactly,,,,,,An investigation into SNC will bring attention to the Trudeau foundation, which in turn will attract attention to the Clinton foundation...
Also SNC has deep ties in Saudi Arabia/Middle East in general.
I seriously suspect this goes a lot deeper than people imagine... There are obviously deep concerns within the liberal party, a lot are putting some distance between Trudeau/Butts... Butts gets some mention as I'd imagine he may be the tie that binds hence his resignation...
Let's face it Canadians trusting nature made them pretty easy pickings by global standards...

Let's face it. Both the political and corporate worlds are fundamentally crooked. This is just a big deal because we all hate Trudeau (rightly so) and to a smaller extent Quebec. If this was an Alberta oil company bribing people to get a pipeline built, it would be peachy.

Probably not and they wish it would go away but it will also be in the hands of conservatives on the committee who will be all over it. Fresh ammo to keep it on top of the headlines.
