I'm not at all worried about the next Provincial election, it's the Federal one that has me worried.

Dippers will get annihilated, book it.

Federally all Burnier is going to do is split the Conservative vote paving the way for Zoolanders second term.

I just talked to my cousin in Newfoundland about the next Fed election, he says Dum Dum still has overwhelming support out there. He also said most people are still sucking on fake news CBC's teet so that explains a lot.

We are SOOOOO hooped if he gets a second term

my daughter goes to Mount Royal University in Calgary and I asked her just the other day what is the mood on upcoming elections in AB. She told me they talk a lot about it and most voting for NDP. She says it gets aggressive when she voices her opinion against NDP. So, better hope urban areas get out in droves to vote as the younger generation/city dwellers appear to have different ideas.

Unfortunately, this statement probably has more truth then most on this forum would care to hear or admit. What has happened for this generation to be raised with this type of mentality....? Entitlement has run rampant, and an uncontrolled system of beliefs has been silently fed to these kids....

Wonder where that came from.....? I would encourage everyone with kids to have those types of discussion with your child’s teacher and school administrator.

Unfortunately, a vote for Bernier is basically a vote for the Liberals. All he is doing is splitting the vote which will slide Trudeau right back in. The best thing Bernier could have done is wait till after this next election, then build the party he wants ....all he is doing is hurting the PC party by splitting the support

And, yes then Alberta is doomed because you can see today, Trudeau does not care is he has no support in Alberta....he doesn't need it.

I read that Bernier will steel votes from the Libtard and NDPee more than from the Cons... This is how people in Quebec and Ontario see him

Find a new source. He is decidedly further right than the small c conservatives and is risking splitting the right vote with his half baked idea to start a party way too close to an election year. I mean he has a French name though so the east might like that...

Well, I read the opposite....I am sure there are many points of view over what Bernier is doing.......I believe my statement more......

Maybe Bernier may be liked or respected more than "smiling" Andrew Scheer.....but Scheer's PC's are nationwide and in place....established......

Bernier's timing is poor and he will not have proper, established, representation in place before the election......meaning he cannot form a government.....all he is doing is stealing votes and most of those votes will be right wing votes....PC party

• The Premier of Alberta is jogging with her dog along a nature trail. A coyote jumps out and attacks the Premier’s dog, then bites the Premier.
• The Premier starts to intervene, but reflects upon the movie "Bambi" and then realizes she should stop because the coyote is only doing what is natural.
• S
he calls animal control. Animal Control captures the coyote and bills the province $200 testing it for diseases and $500 for relocating it.
• She calls a veterinarian. The vet collects the dead dog and bills the Province $200 testing it for diseases.
• The Premier goes to hospital and spends $3,500 getting checked for diseases from the coyote and on getting her bite wound bandaged.
• The running trail gets shut down for 6 months while Fish & Game conducts a $100,000 survey to make sure the area is now free of dangerous animals.
• The Premier spends $50,000 in provincial funds implementing a "coyote awareness program" for residents of the area.
• The Alberta Legislature spends $2 million to study how to better treat rabies and how to permanently eradicate the disease throughout the world.
• The Premier’s security agent is fired for not stopping the attack. The province spends $300,000 to hire and train a new agent with additional special training for the nature of coyotes.
• PETA protests the coyote's relocation and files a $5 million suit against the province.

TEXAS
• The Governor of Texas is jogging with his dog along a nature trail. A coyote jumps out and attacks his dog.
• The Governor shoots the coyote with his state-issued pistol and keeps jogging. The Governor has spent $.50 on a .45 ACP hollow point cartridge.
• The buzzards eat the dead coyote.

And that, my friends, is why Alberta is broke and Texas is not.
