Hello All, i don't post here often, but was just wondering what some of you all thought about this new EV truck and SUV Rivian models that will be released (if their promises are not just smoke and mirrors) in 2020
I think the grill must be the ugliest thing i have ever seen, but besides that, i think the SUV is a great looking clone of a Land Rover.
With 0-100km/hr in 3 seconds, 11,000lb towing, 400 mile range...approx $100K starting price....wow. I have two buddies who just dumped $95 on dodge's so this isn't all that far off. (i know the 3/4-1 ton conventional trucks can haul more, but this truck will get better fuel efficiency)
I thought the extra storage compartment on the pickup was cool, as well as its flip down door/seat.
I would expect to see these trucks in the wealthy suburbs of LA, Chicago, Miami and Vancouver before the members of snow and mud are converted.
But i was just looking for opinions.
