It is nice to see that Avalanche Canada followed up my note to them....I knew that already about FB and I also knew not to hold my breath waiting for anything to be done. There are other ways to get the information and it is just a principle that FB is being prickish about.

Unfortunately there's not much we can do about FB stopping you from seeing these posts. They control who can access what is posted on their platform and can block access to non-users at any time. We will file a comment with their help department, telling them this is public safety information that needs to be accessed but knowing FB, I wouldn't hold my breath on that. We'll try though.
