Maybe i'm too old.

How many fellas remember what a nice set of trips or even twins at 8600rpm sounded like?

These single pipe loud cans are the rice rockets of the sled world...Loud, annoying, and most importantly they aren't helping us keep riding areas open.

Ya i know you're 22, got your first job and want a loud sled. But seriously, its not helping us.

Or at least wait until you're 50 yards away from the cabin. Honestly, nobody wants to hear your loud can. Because its loud, and it also sounds terrible.

Not just sleds.....quads/SxS out in the bush with some obnoxiously loud pipe or stereo with thrash music at about 120 decibels....or the straight piped Cummins that sounds exactly like a 1965 Massey farm tractor.....and then there’s the Harleys.....WTF is it with people that think we all want to hear their loud $hit.....

My wife had a 670 with gagne pipes. Not sure if spellings correct. That thing was crazy loud. Don’t miss it one bit. I like the new cans. They have a nice bark. Loud pipes aren’t losing us areas, bullish!t caribou are the problem. Loud or not they don’t like us. Might as well be heard and seen right.

Still run a set of twins on a 910BB, love the sound. I did put quieter cans on it though, was too loud for me.

There are a lot of sled areas adjacent to other user areas for snowshoeing, ski touring etc. If you think loud sleds don't motivate these other users to try and push us out of areas you're delusional. That doesn't come as much of a surprise though since the brain trust doesn't even realize there are other user groups nearby.

I like to think i don't want a annoying can, but then you get 3 or 4 sleds in a bowl and the horns start blasting and a loud is fun. Specialty sleds can is nice an chill on the trail but when she gets cracked its loud. Firm believer in Loud pipes save lives on the bike anyways. I love my V&H Monster Ovals on my 103....loud an mean, don't give a chit if you don't like it but at least you hear me coming and wont cut me off... Good luck finding a HD owner that disagrees.

first off I ride around in big V8 open header jet boats all summer so I understand the loud pipes but I just rode a weekend on my new Freeride and loved having stock exhaust. I notice that I modulate throttle way more instead of always to the bar to hear the tin symphony. I was going to get a Diamond S but not so sure now...

Never met a HD owner yet that wasn't a total DB, so not surprised they wouldn't care if people like listening to their pos bikes or not.

You obviously haven't been involved in any land use meetings. I spent 20 years at it. The number one complaint is, and has always has been, loud obnoxious sledders. It comes up long before Caribou are ever mentioned. It makes all other issues just that much harder to fight.

Edit: It's also uninformed sledders like you that made me quit the fight. I'll argue with government and leaf lickers till hell freezes over, but having to argue with bitchy whiny sledders I'm supposedly fighting for put an end to it.

Triggered, LMAO. Some mean guy dressed like a pirate on a HD steal your lollipop or something?

No just all the ones I've met are into knuckle tattoos and smoking meth. But hey if you like dressing up in leather chapps when it's 30c out and making a bunch of noise have at er.

Definitely a correlation to my age and distaste for loud pipes, cars, Harley’s, lol.
