Just because you CAN do something means that you SHOULD do something cuz it’s a free country and I have the RIGH to be FREE to do what I want under the law
of .....
braaaaaaap

And I can walk behind you everywhere you go and blast you with an air horn that’s the same volume as your Harley because it’s a free country.....but I won’t, because I’m not an entitled, self absorbed disrespectful person.

I agree. A piped HD, vintage muscle car or straight piped Dodge can all be driven through town without getting a second glance, if the driver wants to. Unfortunately some people succumb to the "look at me"mindset and insist on driving like an ass or pounding crappy music.

I like a bit of noise. I had a ggb race can in my 2014 xm. On the trail it was loud. Tried the stock suitcase and didn’t like it! And the fact they I had to go from clicker 3 to clicker 5 to get the same rpm’s made me put the ggb back on. I lost power with the stock can? My truck has 5” exhaust and is pretty loud but like it. My 900 ranger is stock and super quiet and like it. So it all depends on what type of sport I am doing. My next sled most likely stay stock or try the ggb trail can.

There's alot of typical berta boy replies to this one lol. Loud cans should be banned. theres no need for it, period. However a lightweight stock sized titanium can with no HP loss, i think thats something everyone should get behind.

I'd say there's a few, not a lot, and thankfully they seem to be outnumbered by the more sensible folks. For the record my earlier response re: weak sauce was fully sarcastic.

And yes agreed someone should design a lighter weight suitcase maintaining stock sound level and backpressure.

The way I see it no matter what you do or ride, loud or quite. Your job, your skin colour, heck your Vehicle colour. You will offend someone. I could totally sell all my toys, stop logging, live in a shoe and still my friend would be pizzt that I don’t do anything...no one is safe and we all complain.
i see the point that is being made here but I’m not sure what the answer is because it you save the caribou and run quite with some eco friendly fuels we are still going to get the stink eye.
Every day I see more and more stupidity. people that cut down a song because “it’s cold out side baby” who are these people? No one I know stands for this but yet “we” as people need to respect others and others say there offended. So the song goes. What next...everything, we will loose everything if we keep complaining.
Im going to tap the throttle on the Harley lightly but I’m still running my pipes, I will continue to ride where I’ve ridden for the past 35 yrs. and I will keep cutting down trees spite that nasty protest group that’s at the bottom of our road.
im living my life my way, it’s a free country...well last I heard. Maybe not any more. Non smiley face.

Good points James. Everybody is entitled and the bureaucracy is listening and they are a bunch of friggin' do-gooders. Common sense has gone out the window. The squeaky wheel gets the grease and it is getting to the point of ridiculous. The song, "Baby it's Cold Outside" was first taken off a radio station in Cleveland, Ohio and from the survey only 6% wanted it taken off the play list. The other 94% were common folks who didn't have a problem with the song. Tell me how or why would some corporation make a decision on 6% of respondents to a survey.

It is very similar to the jerk in Whistler. We are going down a slippery slope and I really feel sorry for the younger generations that are growing up in Western countries.

Diamond-s quiet muffler is just what you asked for, at a price of titanium or stainless vs stock steel.

Only problem is, a "pear" doesnt fix riding closures.

When i am riding on the prairies i have my sled louder than stock but if i am going to the mountains (not my riding area and a place others fight to keep open), i run quietly. Respect others and thier environment.
