Is it just me or do loud cans sound terrible?

Loud sucks and they just get louder.. Had someone on one of our trips to a old abandoned town where the homeowners use em as cabins now.. We stopped for lunch and this prick showed up and proceeded to pin it and rip around the area. Sounded like a V8 with open headers.. Destroyed my day i had a headache after he left

I don't care for the sound of a 2stroke with a can, but I love the sound of a 4stroke with a can, especially a Sidewinder.

Then you can’t get in trouble from mom when you get home at 11:15 (curfew at 11:00) because she heard you leave your buddies at 10:55 and listened to your 20 min ride home..... obviously you were not late, you just ride a cat.
Just got a place on the lake, and wtf is with people and their "mountain cans" at 11pm on a sunday night

buddy's G4 sure sounded good doing panty rippers across Owlshead parking lot yesterday morning, he could probably barely hear it with his big modular helmet on though. NMFH fawkin idiot.
Changed my sled back to the stock suitcase this year as I want to be able to ride with my daughter when she is on her 120 and she has a tough time with noise. I went for my first ride, i think ever in 25 years of riding, with a stock can the other weekend and i was a happy guy. Honestly could not tell a difference at all as far as weight goes and it was really nice to be able to hear myself think rather than just hearing the noise from the sled. In the future i can't see myself doing a can again, the only time i will venture away from stock will be for a full exhaust system with a trail/quiet can where you can get some actual performance gains and not just a little weight and some ear horsepower.
