nice, that's on my list! what time of year did you go out?

I’ve been all different seasons

Summer was a bit hot going through the salt flats at the end of the day, was up around 120f. Had to drink a ton of water but was always worth it

Try and get a day where your group are the only dirtbike riders on tour, Ive gone as the only tour rider. They build in a lunch stop in Primm meeting with the atv and utv tour, if you get with Bryce and can all ride well you can skip the lunch and get a ton more riding in

Also for some fun, get an f150 or Jeep for your rental rig and take it to the next underpass after Hoover dam. There’s lots of Jeep trails up the mountain all the way back around lake mead, sometimes you see them from the plane on approach
Some of the trails are ridge top and a bit narrow for the f150 but I made it up all that I tried and some had some small rock ledges
I was more worried about ripping a tire more than anything else
Wicked afternoon of 4by driving overlooking the lake

If you like to hike and want to see some great desert scenery Valley of Fire is pretty cool. You will need a vehicle though.

I cant compete with the Red Rooster, but we always enjoy a day trip to the new Grand Canyon, the walkway and all the different viewing areas, also an interesting drive, once you turn off the highway it brings back allot of memories from Vegas Vacation, you can almost see Randy Quaid standing out front of some of the homes.

Shelby Museum, Las Vegas Speedway and the stuff in that area, Nascar experience, exotic car rental, boating on Lake Mead, and my favorite, the Freemont Street experience, got to do that at least on night. All the gun shops, rent a tank and crush a car, the Busch's gocart track, every year there seems to be more and more,

Like teeroy I highly recommend the Nascar experience. Even if you want to just go for a ride ($99) and have a pro scare the crap out of you. Its worth it. Also the gun ranges are a riot. That's what hooked me. $200 and shot all the exotics and if you are feeling really wealthy you can drive a tank over a car for only $2500. Lol

Anyone ever stay at The D?
Looks like great access to Freemont St and The Strip. Year round pool and hot tub, 7 outta 10 rating and a decent price.

if you don't mind a block off the strip, we stayed at the holiday inn desert club for a week a few years back for the NASCAR march race. handy to have a full kitchen and laundry on a long stay, basically in the parking lot of the high roller on the other side of Koval Lane. The Shelby museum is a must, free tour with donation. The wife jumped off the stratosphere in the free fall thing, 1200 feet... no thanks lol. cant beat the Cosmopolitan IMO, stayed 3 times and will go back.

Group of us stayed at The D last spring for the World of Outlaws and Nascar weekend. Had a great time there and the hotel was really good - nice and clean, good staff, not too fancy but nice so us rednecks didn't feel out of place. Put in a couple good shifts at Hogs and Heifers down the street. Fremont was a blast.

We went skydiving last time I was there. I'd recommend if you haven't done it!
