I partially agree with this... But i think it more comes down to most Canadians are more concerned with making money and playing or just to plain lazy to come together and stand up to the gov. Different time zones, small communities, and such for the most part have nothing to do with standing up for things. Rallying together, Limiting our use of fuels to make a statement, would be to much of a inconvenience to most people especially when it comes to our play toys... Think of the impact if just the Motorsport crowd did not go riding for 1 week, this would include atv, sxs, snowmobile, dirtbike, 4x4, boat, and anything else we use for after work amusement.. Unlike some of the statements i have seen where people say let all of us not fill up our veh on a certain day.. That has no impact because they know we will just fill up tomorrow and they will still get their money. But motorsports if you dont go out riding its not like your going to make up the fuel the next day between your toy and your tow veh.. Some of us spend $100 and up on a day of riding....
Oh and don't forget the more fuel efficient veh get the higher the fuel costs go never to come down again.. When i started driving it was $20-30 to fill my tank no big deal id burn a tank in a weekend going for drives and shopping that helped local economy's.. Now im at $130 for the same size tank no more driving around and do more shopping online instead of running around wasting gas

Just to clarify that BRP is not bombardier. Bombardier is the company that is getting government funding. That is the aerospace and train company.

Pretty sure its just a corporation setup to extract funds from the government any way possible. They started by selling them planes and trains, but it's easier to just take money for nothing.

Are they? I looked at the major shareholders, but nothing stood out. The bombardier family is still a major shareholder of BRP though.
