It's modern day Rome people's, Indians bitching about pipelines well I sure hope they arrived on foot, and they heat their homes with firewood, it's absolute crazy guess that's what education does, as for as Alberta we're gonna see a collapse like never before, now the house prices are going up builders will be outta work, if your an immigrant,Indian, welfare bum you'll be fine, if your stupid to go out the door everyday and freeze in the winter winders and swelter in the summer heat I think we're ****ed

This isn't just an attack on oil workers but the province in whole. The trickle down form the oil industry is massive, new home builds, food industry, auto sector, Recreational sector, entertainment sector to name a few. Its a war on Alberta.

I already live in my own little world, there’s room for the rest of you in here but no can enter if they feel life should be fair and they need to be treated as equal.
As we all know that it would be nice to separate, but would never happen. I don't understand why we don't build pipeline all the way east, as they import there. Oil/fuel, makes no sense. Are there no one think that should happen, all I say is keep the jobs you have as not getting better. Good luck out there.

While that makes perfect sense we can't even get a twinning of an existing pipeline built across one other province. How in h*** would we ever get approval to build a pipeline across the country? It seems to me that would be just about impossible with the political climate today in Canada and all the roadblocks the government and courts have implemented. To be honest I'm surprised they even allow oil to be shipped by rail tanker cars.

Being directly and indirectly involved with the oilfield (I work at a small family run heavy equipment repair shop), I'm honestly starting to get nervous about whats about to go down over the next year or so. Even if by some miracle Trudeau and his band of blithering fools is punted from office next election, I still don't think many companies will return to Canada and invest in our energy sector. Can you blame them? The current federal and provincial governments along with the help of foreign intervention/smear campaigns have made it so difficult to do get any project off the ground. So when the USA is opening its doors, its a no brainer for these companies to move offices and assets down south.
We may see the oil and gas sector come back to life a bit but I don't think it will ever be to the extent of the previous boom. So many people have been brainwashed into thinking O&G is satanic yet they don't realize they rely on it every friggin day.
Canadians are now more polarized against each other than ever. And it would seem thats exactly what Justin Trudeau wants. Its scary sh!t and its going to get worse before it gets better IMO.
