I know back in the times before caribou closures they used walk the snowmobile tracks to get around, nice packed trails. Political agenda knows no bounds and the uninformed eat it up.

The problem is, its the uninformed, desk riding keyboard warriors with deep pockets who are supporting these agendas. Y2Y will win as they have the monetary backing and the buy in of the governments. More people who have no intentions of ever visiting the backcountry will support these groups because anything OHV related is negative as far as they are concerned.

yesterday my boss in Fernie had a customer that was very informed about every drainage,every peak, every ridge and was saying that in the spring there will be big changes to this little corner of BC. and also said the locals and the people that use the back country will not be happy. The guy wouldn't give details but my boss was very concerned about it

I think you're definitely right for the immediate future. However, I'm hoping the pendulum will swing soon as people become privy to what is actually going on, who's behind it, and what the real motives are. At some point, left wing supporters are going to have to seriously reconsider their support of the lefties as they continue pushing to control media and pick away at our civic rights with secret agendas - even some of the most staunch leftists will have to eventually notice that they're slowly losing their freedoms. ...hopefully, it won't be too late by the time they wake up.
