How do you find out how much you have or need to get an upgrade? Do likes, thanks, recommends and love tags help with rep?

Here we go again....................what goes around comes around.
This has been broken for years and years. It has been complained about for years and years. Nobody in Administration cares!
The little trophy is from the Arcade (a button at the top of the Snow and Mud Banner where there are a myriad of games and used to be Casino) and that depicts that you are a champion at one of the games).
I find it interesting that Reputation is for something special (like a great post or great insight into concern) but one can't make a great post or insightful comment again receiving rep from the original rep giver unless the original reputation giver passes along 10 more reputation processes.
That is hard to explain but the fact that I can't give someone Reputation until I past some around is like the left leaning Democrats or Lib-tards thinking they know what is best for me.
The other thing that happens is that "sheriff's badges and the little colored squares only grow so far. It was a system put in originally, and never adjusted or changed as time went on.

Thanks, I asked for an explanation sometime after I joined and never really got an answer. Obviously my rep doesn’t add much to anyone else, but I’ve handed it out to what I thought were great posts.
