Anybody part of the group buy Facebook page "Anything recreation in Western Canada"?

If so, I need some help understanding the concept. I get how it works and everyone is eager to buy a spot in the hopes of winning something, but most of the items are overpriced and some are grossly overpriced. Someone is making a killing and not sure why everyone would support that?

That group is on the higher side and mark ups are a lot higher then others, join PP and get in on the less expensive goods with better communication and very well operated page IMO......FYI, I'm enjoying my waffles i have won and a few people i have added to groups have won some pretty sweet chit. $30 for a monosuit $25 for a BCA Avy Bundle $25 for a Avy backpack...list goes on my man, Its over priced but you won't give two chits when your $25,30 or 40 gets you some sweet new swag.

Understand that you have won some good stuff, but how much did it cost you to win? Dropping $25-$50 every time adds up and statistically, you should never get ahead. Sure, you spread your $$ over a much longer time to maybe win an expensive item, but still better off to just go buy it?

absolutely agree with ya! but i like to gamble, i also keep myself in check on what i'm spending. From what i spent to what i won doesn't really even out haha. But i had lots of fun and chances and some pretty cool stuff. i'm still on the plus side, I have dropped around $700+/- since i started about 5 months ago and i have won around $1,000 worth of stuff. Theres a few guys on one page that hammer there name on everything and i haven't seen that name pop up as a winner yet....I know of one person that's in over $2g and hasn't won chit. People will slowly start to remove themselves from the bigger groups as they are getting to greedy with big unit items and looking to make huge profits. but bottom line is its illegal gambling 100%

Read into the life of Dustin Joel he’s a scam artist and that’s what he’s doing with his overpriced items.

Here’s the full story of how he was ripping ppl off. I too do not buy any spots on new over priced items. I may try my luck on a used item that’s priced fair. When Ppl in the group ask where the profits go or for a lotto licence and they get the boot instantly.
