I share your concerns, these massive spending obligations that they keep coming up with require new infusions of cash. Confidential my ass.. they are trying to figure out who to audit

oh it will be confidential all right. If you ask your bank if they are providing Stats Can with your banking information the answer will be. "that's confidential"

As soon as the libs got in government there was all kinds of "changes" to the banking system....the best we can all do is use cash for everything, really pisses them off.

Sure hope the big banks push back and refuse. I know if there is one that refuses, if my current banks provide it I will be moving.

My wife went into RBC today for some banking so I had her ask about this and there was no one there that could provide her with an answer. My wife was told that she was the first person to ask about this. Be nice to get a list of banks that are sharing info or are keeping things confidential.

Ryan Jeperson on Global this morning he said he called all the big banks and they said no to giving Trudy the banking info

.............SO FAR........

also, the data that they collect from the banks will be anonymous.....they say all they want is the numbers, not the person attached to it. That may be true but it just opens the door for more bull****.........:nono:

I've read the exact opposite. In fact I believe Stats Canada has refused to entertain the idea of allowing banks to de-identify the data before releasing it to Stats Can. Furthermore, Stats Can has no intention of disclosing which individuals have been selected, nor will it permit the banks to do so.

I bet they won't target any politician or wealthy individuals. I am getting tired of their thumb on the top of my head pushing down harder and harder!

My bad - I stand corrected. The data and stats that statscan releases will be anonymous
