So I started to feel some ‘play’ in the go pedal. Upon further inspection I see that it’s the bolt/screw that holds the pedal in the rest of the assembly. The real unfortunate part is there seems to be no way to tighten this screw and the head is flat with no way to get a driver to tighten it. And the other end is a cap sort of deal. I can spin the screw by hand but it just spins the other side. I tried getting pliers on both ends with no luck, any advice?

I did some googling and could not find a parts diagram/blow up of the assembly.

IIRC, the pivot for the pedal is a rivet holding it to the rest of the assembly. It’s a drive by wire thing, not a cable like the old days. If you’ve got a bunch of slop in the pedal you’re probably gonna have to replace the whole assembly, likely the sooner the better before the electronic sensor end of the assembly gets buggered by the loose pedal.
