Who in H*ll does Philips think she is fooling with this comment. "My job is to find a balance." The NDP have no idea what balance means. She has always been against any form of motorized recreation.

I didn't notice that it was from May either when I posted it myself, but the pol still seems to be open. I can still access the voting buttons (even though it will not recount my vote). I'm sure the numbers where in the 800's two days ago and are at 934 this morning.

I'm afraid the notely crew, led by shannon phillips is going to put this through before the next election... She is pushing hard and her hidden agenda is to close the whole western corridor and make it all natural park land, closed to all motorized vehicles

Originally I had doubts because of all the oil wells and various leases, but now I wouldn't put anything past her. It really looks like they're gearing up to buy out all the leases which I can't even imagine how many billions that will cost the tax payers. Of course, that will come out of our pockets and without all the tax revenue from Big Horn industry, we'll be even less equipped to pay a bill of that magnitude.

Also, we're going to start seeing forest fires that will dwarf Fort Mac? Grazing helps keep the grass under control, preventing rapid spread of fires after events like lightening strikes. Lease road, cut lines, seismic lines, etc are critical for access to fight fires. We continue to fight fires instead of letting nature take its natural course, so logging is critical to prevent over growth and susceptibility to very large fires. What happens to biodiversity in an area after it's burned to the ground for thousands of square kilometers?

She should give her house to them, instead of giving our land away.

They should give Ottawa and Quebec to the indigenous. Win, win for everybody. The rest of us can form our own nation.
