Today’s CBC front page propaganda, irks me that not only do my tax dollars go to this leftist rag but also that they influence Canadian voters. Would seem this authors analysis has little to do with politicians Notley, Horgan, Trudeau running interference on regulatory and pipelines.

so in short its demise was due to politics and special interest groups. Let's fix that by voting out the left wing governments.

alberta will in 256 days, and canada hopefully in a year, but bc will be a while yet... Need one of those greenie seats to give up, or one or two of the ndp members to resign or quit or jump sides, and then a non-confidence vote would cause a new election.....

CBC aside, That article is actually very true, and a disappointing series of actual facts are wrote in it.
Suncor CEO already said no more capital projects till there is added pipeline capacity.

I said months ago, pray for a Pipeline or an announcement of a upgrader expansion.

Things are changing in this oil crisis, I fear it will be awhile before things swing around, and when it does I wondered if it will be like it once was.

In them hills.
True or not it is discusting how excited liberals get at the demise of the the oil industry.

You don't need to look any further then the value of the $CAD to see how important the oil industry is to Canada.

They’re going to fawk the oil industry here like they did to the steel and coal industry in Cape Breton where I grew up. Hope our next government can get this back on track before it’s too late.

Activists/liberals also screwed up the chance for oil and gas back home too.

What I don't understand is why the natives have so much stroke. That ROW goes over a lot of private land. There's probably more than one land owner that doesn't want it going over their property but you don't hear about it.

If Doug Ford can waste everyone's time using the notwithstanding clause to try and whittle down the Toronto council seats why can't Shiny Pony use the same clause to push the pipeline through?

He may as well just come out and say he doesn't really care about the oil industry in Alberta or Saskatchewan. His actions certainly give that impression. I wonder what he thinks his job really is. Pride parades and sucking up to special interest groups is way more important to him.
