Maybe its just me but I get frustrated when I watch the actions of the RCMP in that video, I know they can't condone anything as far as fighting back it just seems to me we are supposed to stand there and take it. I'll tell you if someone breaks into my place I am not going down without a fight.

Why so you can go to jail? Imo insure everything for replacement value and let the scumbags take what they want.

Lol I guess there is No fight in you, your family feels really safe.
Replacement value is only good on new items for two years as well.

I’m outside brooks 15min and keys are always in vehicles. Everything is insured so if your coming out where I live chances are your there to take so I make it easy. Now if you decide to come inside my place you better be prepared to have a real bad time. Also you must first get passed my great pyranese that lives under my deck. I will not be shooting at anyone in my yard going through my truck or taking it for that matter. Why mess up your life for that BS. I think inside your residence is fair game though.

Have you had anything stolen???

Its alot of work and a large pain in the azz dealing with the insurance company!!
And my insurance is easy to dl with compared to the horror stories I have heard.
Large items are easy but what about all the small stuff?
Do you have receipts for every item in your truck!!

Give your head a shake dude!!

What all the Pansy's that won't defend or lock up their stuff don't realize is they will be back again cause you were such a laydown in the first place. Guess you could apply that with anything in life

Im glad that others share the fight on this. Different opinions of course but I have been broken into and until it happens, you can't really comprehend the feeling of violation and invasion of personal space.

We had some thieving pr**cks from the reserve north of me come into our yard late one night. Everything was locked down except for some minor stuff in a farm truck. We lost 9 vehicles in an 8 day period in our small community. People affected said they would rather leave their keys in their vehicles than have them come in the house. I told the cop this and he said where is there a written agreement that if you let them take your truck they won't come in your house? He said statistics show if they find an area or place that is easy to get results from they will keep coming back. He also said that some insurance companies are now waving insurance on customers that have had repeat vehicles stolen because they are not attempting to stop theft. Think that one over. You lose an $80,000 truck cost because the insurance says to hell with you. He said you have to make the effort to protect your property in a non violent way with camera's, alarm systems and crook proofing your property.

And Why insurance rates are skyrocketing also. I guess it is OK just to go take whatever I want when I see something I like.
I have to pay three times for something while some loser comes and takes it, breaks everything in his way to get it and have no repercussions doing it.

some POS tried getting into my house a several years back and woke my daughter up as it was her bedroom window he was trying to get in. I took after him barefoot running down hill with a 4 ft natural gas pipe in hand. He was lucky my feet were hurting so much from running LOL. Never seen my daughter so scared! He was lucky he ran so fast!

I think our place was scouted out last night.
Wife sent me a text this morning when she got up filling me in.
I caught a cold. And as to keep her or our 10 month old from catching it. I moved into the basement. At the very least she doesn't have to listen to me cough and hack all night long.
I was dead asleep by 10. She said shortly after 10 she heard the doorbell ring. Then it rang a couple more times. She thought it was probably my one buddy dropping his trailer back off at our place. So she's pissed because she figures he'll wake the kid.
She opens the door to find two males in their early 20s. They claimed they lost their dog and were looking for it.
No description of the dog. We had no lights on at the house. She said no and immediately shut and locked the door. Said she could hear them yelling some name as if they were searching for a dog.
I asked if she got a good look at either of them. She did not.

I'm pretty sure had she not answered the door these idiots may have tried breaking in.

Or who knows maybe they were really searching for their lost dog... (which I highly doubt).

Different situation if someone came in the house when we're home but I sure as **** wouldn't spend 1 minute in jail away from my family for anything I can buy again. Pretty hard for them to survive without me working.
