Also in 1919, smoking didn't cause lung cancer. Asbestos was perfectly safe. I suppose that was all invented as a giant conspiracy in the '70's too?

Get your heads out of your asses and wake up. You neanderthals are un-f**king-believable.

Says the guy that rides a 2 stroke sled. ...has no problem calling out the people who do not believe in man made climate change but has no problem contributing to it himself.

The difference is that there is no dispute over the effects of smoking and lung cancer, but there are hugely varying theories as the to effects of CO2 on our climate. What we DO know for certain is that the motives behind carbon taxes have absolutely nothing to do with combating the potential problem and are nothing more then a new method of global wealth redistribution under the guise of environmental protection.

There is science to support lung cancer from smoking.

There is science to support the affects of asbestos in your lungs.

Please show me the definitive science that climate change is man made or that we have any control of the weather.............

Google world temperature history if you want to get some real facts regarding temperature changes on earth for a few million years instead of the last 150 years or so. Otherwise just continue to swallow the line that humans are destroying the world and carbon taxation is the saviour for all mankind.

In all seriousness there should be some new good burns to sled this winter.

https://www.revelstokereview.com/news/b-c-wildfires-2018-province-calls-for-federal-aid/

Is there any value in them burnt logs for you guys?

Yep some value, got to get it quick before it drys and checks. Not all burnt is good but it’s better then leaving it. Cut and replant program. Not very clean work though, hard on equipment with all that black ash. As far as kootenay burn clear cuts go, yes some great new riding. This is because the trees planted 20yrs ago are so tall a lot of areas I rode back when are all grown up.

Humm no mention of the mountain pine beetle in the article. But to some, dry dead trees pose no risk I spose.

There is around here. The fires across the lake from my place were barely out when Canfor started doing fire salvage last year.

Need to log them within about a year to still have value for dimensional lumber. After burning they're not much good for veneer or plywood though, generally too dry and/or checked for the lathe.
