Just thinking about installing enclosed deck but would have to cover deck boards .
Have one quote for installing tongue and grove plywood and then covering with sealed outdoor vinyl.
What is a average cost per square foot for something like this ?
Thanks in advance
PS
Not sure how the hell you can change topic location as doesn’t give you a option for anything other then motor sport items.

I’m in the same boat. Just starting to look around at the options.

That's about what I was quoted here too.

I am building/expanding a deck off the front of our place that is done in duradeck. I'd rather do a cedar 5/4 deck board but a portion of it covers the basement entrance and can't let moisture through. I am debating doing duradeck on the whole thing or using a rain capture system on the portion that covers the entrance. I don't really like the look of duradeck but the maintenance on it is sooo easy.

I am changing my side deck boards. Have dura deck on front and going to put a roof over the side deck. Had rhino decking but want it sealed waiting for a quote on flex stone coating.
I have a 14x12 piece where hot tub goes the it is 8 x 30 from there. A rough estimate for flex coating , labour and install was 5700. Its pricey but done for life.

Will update when I get quote.

Can't help you with the deck question, but where would you like the thread moved? Just About Anything Goes?

I fiberglass decks and have been doing so for 20 years, it is the ultimate solution, looks kinda like dura deck , lasts for 20 years plus, no maintenance, easy to clean and shovel snow off, its the ultimate waterproof solution but I charge about $8-10.00 a square foot depending on the job. I can post a pic or two but I am afraid to because I am quite busy and am afraid to take on more work ha ha, most people that see it want it because there is no equivalent on the market for sure. I have decks out there that are 30 or more years old still doing the job and could use a refresh but that is a pretty cheap investment for that length of time and 0 maintenance.

I’ve done 2 above grade concrete decks. Been 10 years and not even a crack. Did exposed Finnish but can be finished anyway concrete can.

Glass is a durable option. Replaced a torch on with fibreglass. No leaks and good for longer than I'll be around.
If you're handy its not difficult. Prep is key of course.
Lots of products for bonding / bedding posts to it afterwards
