I remember that, we were camping at half moon lake the day it hit..... fawk I'm getting old.

i was going out with a girl who's aunt and uncle who owned the place at the time .... very tough to deal with that night

was sitting on deck, wondering why the choppers were going back n forth overhead, golf ball sized hail at the house, storm was intense!

My wife and I were living in Hana at the time. I remember EMS and fire were sent to assist. I can't even start to imagine what it would have been like to be in the middle of that.

yes , a lot of stories from that tragedy. lot of comments on how people were delayed in various ways till just after tornado went through. the east side of the lake had trees snapped off about 6 ft high? like match sticks for miles in a 400m wide path, wow.
