hey I look at it this way, release them if you have nothing to hide! I am heading to a biz trip to Indian and to get my visa I have to release my financials and proudly do so as I have nothing to hide.

CIA and FBI and DOJ is not on your back, hell they even had him guilty of Russian collusion which took 2 years to prove was all cooked up , then the whistleblower which i am sure is a lying CIA agent that can't be question. I am sure you would be sitting in jail for some reason if this crew went over your tax returns. Which would be 1/100th as complicated as Trumps.

you honestly think Trumps books aren't cooked? Keep in mind he refused to release them well before any of this Russian collision stuff begun. You also honestly believe there was zero collusion with the Russian's? if there wasn't, why all the lies about meeting Russians in Trump hotel denial denial then when proof comes up its like "oh that time all we were talking about is adoption" . All these politicians are crooked as hell and will twist stories like no other for the naive to believe. For the record, I dont believe Trump, the Bidens, the Clintons and anything in between. They should be all locked up and key thrown away. Bunch of self serving aristocrats trying to pul the wool over anyone who is willing to believe them. Just my 2 cents worth!

He is the president, he won the election fairly. They have emails proving these guys were out to take down the president...and still trying...why? Where are all the Clinton emails? She is too dumb to erase them all.

This progressive mantra that you should divulge everything about yourself to strangers no reason other than to demonstrate how virtuous you are i find very disconcerting. How far are you willing to expose your privacy?
If the Chinese government told you that to get a visa, you had to download the hard drives of all your computers and give it to them would you? If not, why not? What are you trying to hide? This insinuation that if you don’t surrender to these demands you’re some kind of criminal or unsavoury character is at best insulting, and at worst grossly intrusive.
One of the basic tenets of our democratic societies is that you’re innocent until proven guilty, and that you have rights of privacy, and freedoms of expression and free speech.
If I refuse to divulge my personal information, it’s not that I’m hiding anything, it’s just that it’s none of your damn business! If you think I’m breaking the law, call the cops, or hire a lawyer and take me to civil court. Either way, you would be required to provide some burden of proof that I’m doing something wrong other than “ he must have something to hide”
Its the typical progressive Canadian attitude that anyone who is better off or richer than you must have got that way by nefarious means.

No. Pure political theatre. It takes a 2/3 majority in the senate to convict him and finalize the process to remove him from office. The republicans hold the senate majority, so eventually this will all just end with a whimper.
You know, i always thought you were smarter than this but it appears I was wrong. If there was any collusion with the Russians, it was with the Democrats and the Clinton's. Calling Trump an "aristocrat" is funny as hell, the guy has never been a politician until 2016 and ran on a platform to get rid of these political swamp creatures, which he is discovering is not an easy job. You should probably worry more about how Trudumb is going to run your country and let us worry about Trump, since you are clueless on how **** works in the US.

Trump derangement syndrome is more epidemic in Canada than it is in the states.....fed by a media controlled by the liberal party via federal funding to "acceptable" media corporations.....most common sense hardworking western Canadians support what trump is doing.

very good comment and I would agree. But from my suspicious side towards Trump this has nothing to do with his "privacy" but either he is not as good as a business man he claims to be or he hasn't paid taxes like the rest of us do.

well I am happy you find me dumb! Not that I really care what you think of me as I know some of you are so in love with Trump no matter what he does. I can BET though if he was a democrat you would be singing 100% a different tune. For me, I have no love affair with anyone on either side so I can look at things based on pure neutral position. Like I said in a different comment above, all these guys are guilty of shady biz including the Clintons etc etc. So, its irrelevant to point out what they have done when we are talking about Trump. So, stay on topic.
