Lenny I believe your right. Trump no longer wants the US to take a leadership role in Nato or on the international stage in general. It is well within their right to withdraw from any leadership positions they want. I wonder how the American electorate feels about Trump's position. I suppose we will find out in November. If they approved it could be a good thing for some other ideologies to come to the forefront. You can't lead from the back.
