Gotta say that's why fall winter is my favourite time of year. But it was commented earlier everywhere has its pros and cons.

Myself as well, but after working outside at 35 below for a week I start to wonder if I still wanna go sledding. By the time I get to the mountain, I’m over it.

yesterday I went to our seasonal campground in Salmon Arm to get things ready for summer and there was atleast 20 others from AB doing the same. Also, seen lots of AB plates bringing their boats out for the summer already. I really don't think there will be much of an impact.

And all those tourism $$$$$ 's won't be missed at all! I agree the roads will be far less traffic, and campsites will be more readily available.

Yep there is lots that do not work in O&G and others who do, that could care less cause they think they wont be affected.
More unity in the protesters. Lol

If I had a lot or cabin I would still be vacationing there also. no arguments there. I love the beauty of the province and all the different lakes and rivers.

i will still snowmobile, travel and camp to BC but will not be traveling to the victoria or hongcouver areas as that is where the Anti's are
no point in causing harm to the rest of the province as most outside of the lower mainland and southern sewage dumping island want to see the pipe line built

Me 2

The majority did not vote NDP like I did in Alberto. LOL. """NOT".

No plan changes since the folks out there are awesome, if fuel costs are high, then we adjust a few things on the outings to compensate for it.

Ive been pick-up truck camping for 20 + years now, grocery stores feed me, and the mountains fill my needs.

What is there not to like about BC, quading, hiking, boating, mountain biking, and just hanging out cost next to nothing.

Travel smart and think wize could lead a person to good times.

PS: A person can deduct the 3 meals a day and about $400 in fuel costs on the outting since we were going to do this at home,,, actually it's cheaper to live on the road then to sit at home in the dark.

Get at it, don't let life slow down since you can't get it back. Lifes to short to just give up.
Not only am I touring BC this year,,, I'm taking on Alberto and Saskabush to.

Travel wize with less is more plan.

Lots of good people and small business owners in B.C. particularly in the interior....personally I don’t see the logic in sticking it to them. Shut the fuel off to the lower mainland for sure. If they’re so sure that oil is an evil thing, let them live without it for a few months...

I think it's awesome that the pecker head Alberto dudes aren't going out to BC this year since it leaves the play ground open for us AB Snow Flakes "Like my Self to enjoy it with the BC folks.

Pro Test all one wants as it ok with the rest of us that enjoy the good times in God's Country.

I like BC as a play ground. Pro Test my azz ain't the way I roll.

Thanks for sharing Doug, most are small businesses I have never dealt with and have no intention of dealing with however I did see a couple of brands that I will quit supporting. Unfortunate because their product is superb but here we are: Salt Spring Coffee, Crannog Ales and Natures Path Foods.

Maybe I missed something here, but....Boycotting Crannog Ales? If you could elaborate (genuinely curious...)
