I saw a news clipping with the "sacred fire" in the back ground that they wanted special treatment for. It was full of papers (poster/sign type paper) and one would think that if it meant that much to them, they would not be putting garbage into a so called "sacred fire".

This project is now dead in the water. The only good thing to come out of todays court decision is that Rachel's and Selfie Boy's days are numbered!!!

The country is completely screwed at this point. With the latest setback this pipeline will most definitely not be built and any investment in the oil and gas industry is going to be running for the hills. Why invest if special interest groups and a single province can overturn federal decisions like this?

It is really time for Alberta to take more drastic action. I am a proud Canadian but i cannot help but think that Alberta and Saskatchewan could do much better than being the whipping boy for the rest of the country. See how everyone else likes it if we could manage to not send piles of cash down east constantly. No industry for us, no cash for you.

Very sad times we are living in.
