6 days to go, come on nutley! got no balls i guess. lol.

not looking good.......I am starting to believe that NDP Notley and Dumb**** Libtard True-dope are going to get "their" way......no pipelines built and kill the fossil fuel industry. Talk is, they have only been posturing to kill time and waiting for companies to back out......then blaming other parties to "their failures".............I am really starting to believe this.

Notley purposely did nothing to help the O & G sector for the 1st 2 years of her reign as queen cuz that is the NDP mandate........oil and gas bad....green power good
Dumb**** True-dope will do whatever he can to see Alberta hurt. He is against the western provinces /Alberta in every way possible .......

These two are ALL talk and no action.

None of the three stooges wants to see the pipeline go ahead. All they have to do is procrastinate long enough for the private sector to wash its hands of the pipeline and then they can blame it on economic viability, the same way they did with energy east.
All three of them see no value in private industry. They’re all tax and spend progressives that believe taxing away everyone’s money and then spending it on programs that the government gives back to us is the best way to run a country. If there’s a shortfall, borrow money and raise the debt.

"they closed there mills, so they could ship logs away to foreign mills"

That is a VERY different question than your original statement.

Yes unprofitable mills have shut down, but log exports are not up. 2nd thing that has to be taken into consideration, not all logs are created equal, there are many species which are not suited for mills in BC but other countries use them. Selective logging allows those non desires species to be exported while desires species are consumed in this province. The two areas with the most log exports are Vancouver Island and the north coast area, Terrace, Rupert, Kitwanga.

https://www.fraserinstitute.org/sites/default/files/log-export-policy-for-british-columbia.pdf

https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/industry/forestry/competitive-forest-industry/log-exports

If one spends all their time listening to green peacers propaganda they will have a much different view of what is actually happening. Because of the beetle kill epidemic now coming to an end there is actually a shortage of fiber for mills so the local demands have increased and logs are trucked much farther to support local mills.

Your right, I reread my other comment and it was not wrote properly.

Bad enough the total silence from provincial and federal political leaders supposedly trying to help strike a deal with KM... Now federal natural resource minister Jim Carr announced there is "no guarantee Ottawa can come to terms with Kinder Morgan over Trans Mountain". So the feds are already preparing their defense for the cancellation announcement next week.

Maybe all the parties involved should fly to India and meet there? Mr. Dressup does some of his best work in costume.

And that moron Morneau is gonna come to Alberta and there'll be a major bunch of cow-towing and a$$ kissing and his honourable this and sucking up to this puts who is very obviously on the same , screw Alberta plan as Trudeau and the rest of the federal Idiots. Pisses me off when you see this BS being spewed and we know it, but decorum , tradition and decency demand that respect be given. Why ? Why don't we treat them like they deserve, I have no respect for some of these clowns. Many of them just self serving , selfishly motivated prima donnas with no real value to the people paying the freight. If there is anyone who attempts to voice the truth or facts when the moron is speaking , they'll be shunned and admonished as rude or undisciplined, when in actuality they will be speaking truth. Which will contribute to a continuance of the same crap we are enduring now. That idiot should be embarrassed to come to Alberta .

I think King Ralph already did that

With Trudeau needing the Liberal seats in Vancouver, nothing will happen until after the Federal election. Kinder Morgan will put the expansion into abatement until then. There are no pipeline companies that would touch this project. Morneau is coming to Calgary May 30 for some type of an event showing their support but the project is dead.

Trudeau and Horgan are the winners and Notley gets to keep in the headlines until the next election “trying to get the pipeline approved.” So she wins too.

The 65yr old refinery needs upgrading so we will see if something happens over the next year or so as this was part of the expansion.

It was never going to happen, just political posturing trying to buy votes. Trudope would have to have some balls to standup and push it through. Not a pipeline gonna leave Alberta unless we give it away to the USA. Turn the taps off and no more transfer payments to any other province. Rant over!

Posturing has been the plan all along, all three stooges were against pipelines before they were elected.:twocents:
