went through that list of businesses that are against the line, lots of individuals ( non business ) are on it. The rest look like tax write offs, don't contribute anything to the economy.

NDP has always been like that. Spend spend spend, figure money grows on trees. The lower mainland rarely sees the taxes the rest of the province contributes to keep their fairytale city moving.

Well Doug I spent about five minutes looking at the list of signator companies and it sure isn't a list of business leaders. All small business relying on tourism etc. and quite a few obvious sole proprietorship individuals. Nothing against these people as they are certainly entitled to their own opinion as individuals and all they have done is give me a list of companies I will avoid should I encounter them. Not too likely though as I would have to go to people's homes to encounter most of them.

Anyone recognize any of those company names?

Haha. Not too likely but I will cut short my normal summer tour. Some pretty sobering predictions here:

can't see KM pipeline getting built, Nutley is still doing the Flabba Jabba as in nothing! BC is not going to move, and Trudumb is on his drama tour, doing selfies, making promises. Iin other words, as the KM management has already hinted

The last line of that article in my small opinion is very important right now....."Realistically, we need people to start speaking up," Surerus said.

The BC residents who are in favor of this project need to really get vocal about it .....speak up! ....be heard!.....
You are right. Problem for me is my MLA is already a Liberal, As is most of the northern and interior of the province. All the voting power is in lower mainland and they could care less about the rest of the province. While I have no problem speaking up, is there a point when it falls on deaf ears? Also my MP is conservative so again they are in the same boat. The media only prints their agenda, so where do we speak up where our voices are actually heard?

These rally's are all good and all but essentially they are useless. Most corporations don't give a chit about employees so I suspect this falls on deaf ears. Even if all the hurdles are conquered and approvals given to build LNG plants and supporting pipelines, some corporation has to spend billions to make it happen. It's not going to happen anytime soon I suspect. With low gas prices and global competition for LNG high who would take the risk.

Yesterday natural gas was being sold for something like 70cents.
