it's loosing some ground now, 16700$ it's a volatile market, not for the faint of heart!
Late July was down from $18k to 12.5k, now back to $14.5k. Some money to be made playing the up/downs. I did a lot of this late 2015 and early 2016 with oil stocks, made good until I went long on some of them and got greedy... Lesson learned, at least getting some small dividends.
There is definetitly money to be made or lost in trading.
Not my strategy but it works for some people.
I forget who said it, but it was some billionaire dude.

not my exact strategy either, but the dollar isnt a good long term store of value.
