Thanks for the report on Curaçao. The missus and I have been wanting to go for a few years.
The Sunscape had a real annoying "presentation" they wanted people to sit through in exchange for "monopoly money". What they were selling was almost as bad as a time share. Just don't do it.

I'd have to agree with Hawaii and especially the big island! We always went to Kauai, which is beautiful (where in Hawaii isn't?) but at a younger age, definitely great to explore the island with it's volcanoes, beaches that are less populated because you need to walk into most. The countryside and ranchlands are cool, we went looking for heiroglyphics and saw some amazing sites! We always stayed in a vacation rental so there was space to play and separate rooms, we could make meals and have drinks without having to drive.

My wife and I went here last year. We didn’t bring our kids but lots did. It’s family friendly, great food, very safe. Animal sanctuary and zip line right beside the resort. Steal the fruit at breakfast and go feed the monkeys at the end of the beach.

Has anyone been to FIJI? We were in Tahiti and spent a few weeks in Bora Bora and if Fiji is anything similar i know we’d love it. It’s no 6 day trip but on the hit list along with Cooke Islands. Turks and Caicos is now rebuilt ?

in laws did Fiji for a second honeymoon and loved it, long flight but if you did the LA/Tahiti/Bora Bora jump you're gold

Decided on hotels for our Oahu trip, Hilton Waikikian for 5 nights, Turtle Bay resort for 5 nights. I thought it would be nice to be in the city for half and north shore for half. 4 door JK booked too! tops off baby!

Did the ones at Mount Ferdi. Longest one was +\- 500m. Cool ride just about a minute to get across.

Ya this one was lots of runs and longest was over 600 metres across a gorge back to hotel, they are sweet when they are long. Lol

Was in Fiji and Cooke islands 20 years ago.

Fiji was nice, stayed on a small island off the mainland.

Cooke islands worship some god with a giant wang! Big wang statues were everywhere even on their money.

I think Oahu would be really cool, I have heard that Maui is really really busy and costs have gone way up these days, but Hawaii is pretty awesome!

In laws have a condo in Maui. It’s awesome, not really busy, just pricey. So laid back there tho, and you can walk anywhere at any time without worrying about dissapearing. Unlike Mexico or the Caribbean.
