This bill will cripple small business. I run a mid sized company and it cost a lot of money and time to do this safety. It is going to get interesting when people find out what they have to do starting June 1st. My biggest question is how is the province going to police this dumb idea?

Assuming that this little summary is accurate, is it really that different from the hoops we currently have to jump? Either way, even the current OH&S BS is ridiculous overkill. I used to save my employers tens of thousands of dollars by self-performing a lot of work (like pulling cable), but I refuse to do these days because it has become too much work to comply with all the safety regs.
It’s getting more frustrating being self employed every day. We have already been doing most of this safety stuff already but some of this new stuff is ridiculous. Pretty soon there will be more people policing the work force than actual people trying to make a living.

this is such BS, we have trying to prepare our business for these changes and its costing us alot. I hope Kenny wipes this off the map when he comes in. Regulations kill the economy!
