I'm pretty sure I heard of several studies pointing to inhibited brain development in teenagers from regular (not even excessive!) use.

I could see that hindering brain development in the early teen years, same with alcohol at those ages, hence why there is minimum age laws for both.

I got a prescription and tried it. It did not give me the relief I was looking for but it does help a lot of people. I used the oils with low thc and high cbd. I found the oil with same amounts of cbd and thc would hinder my thinking and did not like the feeling at all.

as a person dealing with 8 years of a severe health issue (had brain surgery last year) I can say there is some legitimacy to med cannabis. I never smoked pot as a teenager or later in years as I was brain washed on the bad things and not the good it can provide. My friends pleaded with me for close to 2 years to try it but being a non smoker I resisted until I tried pot cookies. Since then my need for opioids has been reduced substantially and now I can get a descent amount of sleep. I take a piece of cookie the size of a loony at around 10 PM and good to go.

i don't smoke, but i am invested in the industry. One thing you guys are missing is that the consumption of cannabis will mostly be through other means such as oils and edibles. Smoking it is crude, messy and also a waste of product. Once the market is allowed to distribute cannabis it will be found in so many products it will make your head spin. Smoking will be the dirty way to consume it.

This is the one good thing this lib government has done.....i hope i can make all the money i lost to **** economic policies back on stocks....

min age law didn't help much when i was younger...pretty sure i was drinking and smoken weed long before i was of "legal" age to do so. Someone always had a older brother to buy us booze or a buddy's parent liqure cabinet got some bottles filled with apple juice. Kids can probably access everything better then we legal adults can...age means nuttin.

Just got back from Vegas, first time there since cannabis has been legalized and you sure smell it all over the place, hope it doesn’t get that bad here. The smell sure offends lots of people. Anyone else notice this
The smell of beer makes ne mad. Im never going to a pub or bar because of the smell. People might be driving big rigs stoned. Denver stinks like weed. Dont go.

I'm waiting for the wave of douchebags purposely smoking it in public places to flaunt its legality. Then giving a holier than thou speech on how it's legal and they can do whatever they want when you ask them to move somewhere that has less impact on the other people trying to enjoy a public place.

dont believe the hype. Media says epidemic numbers of weeders will be all over the roads. Lol. Pot smokers are already all over the roads. I'm sure they drive better than the retards in Edmonton who can't merge on or off a freeway. Or turn left safely. Come on man. Nothing will change.
Make sure to dodge the people driving on anti depressants and (legal) pills from they're doctors.
Or how about the Guy after work has 2-3 beers and hauls ass home.
But a Guy after work shares a joint and drives home doing the speed limit. Weed doesn't make you wanna take chances like booze.

Scary. So because some drivers have poor skills, having more impaired drivers won’t make it worse? Some people on prescription drugs may have diminished ability driving but I’ll bet the numbers are extremely low, but if so, they’re still impaired and shouldn’t be on the road either. Driving impaired by anything is bad news. This attitude that being stoned doesn’t impair you is dangerous. Making pot easier to obtain will result in more people driving and working under the influence. It’s common sense. For those of you out there that own businesses where employees operate vehicles and machinery, I’d like to hear your thoughts and how you plan to address this potential problem.

Yeah smoke weed, it's good for your lungs, will help with asthma and clear out your lungs, cannabis is analgesic, antibiotic, anti-inflammatory a bronchodilatory, antispasmodic, expectorant/anti-mucosal. We have a symbiotic relationship with the plants on this planet and psychoactive plants like cannabis and mushroom, DMT/Ayahuasca have been used for 1000's of years. These plants are the cure and our connection to the source. If you think it would be great to go to outer space, try visiting inner space you might be surprised to find we are all one.

Do you really think your smarter than a plant?

Seems like lots of people are thinking that people don’t have easy access to pot right now and that theses changes are going to increase the number of users.

People that want to smoke, do it already. The ones that don’t, don’t.

Cigarettes are currently likely harder for the under age youth to purchase than pot right now.

The legalization will change things at the production and distribution level but after the brief novelty thing wares off user levels will be the same.

Might be part of their push to go to autonomous haul trucks.

There is no way to control it right now. People do have the right to do what they want on their days off, but pot stays in your system for so long how can it be managed on a work site.
This issue will be no different than with the general public. Plus that crap stinks and lingers in the air, right now with it not being legal it’s hidden from the public eye.
