I dont have a problem with the mines in FT Mac. Cant see them from my place in Revy.
I don't think I have a problem with lithium mines either.

So you guys are against lithium mines in africa or whatever:confused:

Fawking cactus sand hugging SOB's....lol
I don't have a problem with any mining operations.

I do believe however that in any industry no matter the country there should be more accountability and stricter enforcement on a globally even scale of how it is done and how the land is left at the end and how the waste is handled. IMO, the mines operated in the places (mostly third world or under developed) where most of the rare earth minerals and lithium that is used most often for "greener" renewable energy production are not operated or maintained well nor are they very ethically responsible when it comes to their operations.

I feel based on what I've seen in all aspects of industry whether it be mining, oil and gas, logging, whatever, Canada runs a pretty tight ship comparatively when it comes to being stewards of the land. In many instances how we do things up here have become the standard elsewhere.

Hey look, we've moved beyond the meme and you've probably spent some time learning about lithium production while googling those pictures!

I'm not here for an argument. Mining (in general) and even that brine system (which is the majority of lithium production in the world) have their problems. But...

That picture of the brine pools is a nicely cherry picked picture isn't it? Kind of like that nice oil well in the forest? :)

Not really. Been on thousands of well sites across western Alberta and B.C. that look like that.
