Turning room. The trailer is close to the truck. My v nose trailer the front of the v is only 6Ē from the tailgate when itís down.

Are all the v nose that close to the truck? Wonder if having the sides angled back would offset the tongue being closer and letting a guy turn sharper ?

I would think they are. Itís the manufactures way of getting a bit more room. You might be able to get a few more inches of room depending on what hitch you get. Some might stick out farther then others.

This is my trailer lay out. Depending on the deck you have and how far it hangs over the box and hitch you can still turn good.

Ya that is true with the hitches sticking out farther then some. My box is the 6.6 box and the deck is 7í so hangs about 4Ē. What make and model is that trailer?
