Yeah no doubt, give the coordinates, even if it's in the parks the ski tourers could skin right to it. And start probing.

I would have expected it to be a integral part of the storey. ...... person xyz was flying their drone and or person xyz thought they seen it so they submitted.....
or maybe the family has been doing drone flights looking for them? And they didn’t want to mention that?

Found an article that suggested a commercial drone company had donated some time to the family. The pictures were taken a couple months ago, and the family has been sifting through the images hoping for clues. What is seen in the picture would now be under a lot of snow, so I suspect it will be spring before it's investigated further. The images I saw in the news were not really convincing. If you really wanted to believe something is there, I guess you could make yourself believe. I truly hope that the wreckage is found though. There's another young couple out there between Cranbrook and Kamloops that have been missing even longer, and many more over the years.

If that was the prop it would about 6 ft long. The lettering was 1/2 that size . Who would stamp out help with 3 ft lettering expecting it to be seen. Unfortunately I think this is just false hope.

I think that if they knew where the were flying and survived possibly they could have walked down to the hiway. My guess some one on touring skis has or will be walking up to that site. Should be a quick skin up there.

The only problem is that it is in Rogers Pass.

You require a permit to go anywhere in the park, they may not give you one for that area.

Any one can take the permit application. It mostly pertains to where you can park, permanent closures for avalanche control and study plots. Other than that you can pretty much go anywhere your feet can take you. Looks close enough to McGill parking lot or cedars pullout. Easy enough to get dropped off too. I've skied alot of glacier park. It's an amazing place.

You have to give a detailed trip plan now.
