North central trout rivers being closed

Well anyone who loves to fish in rivers and streams can kiss it goodbye, 7 rivers in Alberta plus the tributaries are being closed for fishing for 5 years, and a number of us who enjoy it are pissed off, so please join the fight to save our entertainment, I've been on the phone with fisheries today and of course they think it's a great idea, but this is only the beginning of taking away our enjoyment, 35 lakes in Alberta are also inline for changes, as I always said this province couldn't manage a goldfish right and now it's starting to come true, anyone who thinks it's good to keep a pike over 63cm full of eggs better get their head checked, thats the breeders were taking out, so please voice your concern if it matters to you,

they are closing fishing down, closing hunting, horseback riding, camping, sledding, atv's off road trucks. everything. fight now not later.

It's ****ing unreal, they're taking away what we love but let's legalize dope, and everything that's wrong in my opinion, I said thanks a lot I just booked a campsite by rocky for may long now I can't even fish there and he said go find a different campsite, I said I'm fricken moving to Saskatchewan, gull lake used to be 10 per person, than 5 now 3 obviously they're regulations aren't working, but here's the best one, they say trout is high mortality rate because of catch and release, but pike fishing we have to catch and release to find one that's 63cm which are the breeders, oh and if the fish is bleeding we must return him back to the water, I said yous don't have a clue what your doing,

yup, just about every fisherman and hunter in the world can understand that concept. but when there is an agenda, you make up your own science. go to the land issue thread, read some of the BS, get involved now, do what you can do. otherwise it will be gone. no hunting, no camping, no sleds, no atv, no fishing, you will need permits to possibly hike in the west country. it is going to happen before May this yr.

Sent two emails to the government of Alberta fisheries department, called a guy who stands behind these changes of course he's all for it, I said all your doing is ruining it for the up and coming generations and us now, as if they're gonna magically open the rivers after 5years, they said the 63cm on pike was just a trial run well it's been here ever since, it's all boiling down to they don't want people doing it no more, it's sad for the people who rely on people staying at their lodges to fish and fly shops that survive on business, he says there's no more bull trout, yet a study just proved there's a healthy population of them, and the worst part is shutting down the river is bad enough but it's all the small creeks too, 2018 is gonna be a record year for laws and changes and there's **** all we can do about it,

keep sending those letters, everyday, attend any rallies being held, call your gov rep.
