Why not?

I fail to understand why north Americans are so up tight about public nudity but have no problem with sneaking off to a strip club or searching porn on the net. Anyone who has ever traveled would agree it's not hard to pick out the north Americans at the beach.

And besides, anyone who has ever been to a nude beach will agree it's not what you pictured before you went.

100% correct on that! Go to the beaches on the Med and no one even stares, they just go about their business. Funny is that when society is deprived of one thing they want it more. Hence the reason Americans are the largest buyers of porn magazines in the world.
