Notice the reason quoted is for “safety”. Sounds like they had some threatening messages and input from the public. Seems the loonie left has learned that if they see something they disagree with, all they have to do is post some threats and they get their way. What I don’t understand is why the authorities don’t investigate these threats? If the group was a bunch of muslims or LGBTQ2WTFGHTRDSA ( or whatever the new acronym is) that were threatened, the authorities would be going full bore to hunt the perpetrators down.

In my opinion sledding and quading is a whole different ballgame than swimming in the raw in a public swimming pool, although I'd love to see what people would do when there's a giant turd floating in there, at least the netting of swim trunks will catch it, if it came to that
